Regular Dental Care - NHS and Independent
At Langley Dental Practice we have a contract with Heywood Middleton and Rochdale Primary care trust to provide NHS dentistry to our patients. We are also delighted to be able to offer a full range of private and independent treatment alternatives for our patients.
Our team of highly trained dentists and dental care professionals are here to look after your requirements. Through the National Health Service we provide a range of dental treatment that the NHS will fund that is determined to be clinically necessary. It does not fund cosmetic dental treatment.
If you pay for your NHS dental treatment you will be charged at one of three levels. At Band 1 the charge is £17.50. At Band 2 the charge is £48.00. At Band 3 the charge is £209. These charges are set by the Department of Health and have no impact on what a dentist earns. You will be exempt from charges if you are under 18 years of age, under 19 and in full time education, if you are a pregnant or nursing mother with a child under the age of one year, if you receive certain benefits such as income support, income based JSA or ESA, or you have tax credit exemption certificate or an HC2 certificate.
We are regularly taking on new NHS patients. Please contact our reception team on 0161643 2428 to check availability and if our books are open to new registrations.
We also offer a wide range of dental treatment that is independent of the NHS. Our highly professional team has many years of experience inproviding all types of more advanced independent dental treatments. These include items such as implants, white fillings on back teeth, metal free crowns and bridges, ceramic veneers, private dentures, tooth whitening and airflow polishing.
If you would like to invest in our private and independent treatment services please contact our reception team on 01616432428.
